~Baby R.~

A new baby is always a miraculous occasion!
When you think about the perfection of a new baby, it is hard not to come away amazed and awed. I remember looking at my own tiny newborns thinking, "just a bit ago, THIS was tucked safely inside ME!" So amazing!!!! Every time I have the opportunity to photograph a newborn baby, I am especially thankful!
I get to cuddle a sweet new baby and enjoy all of the sweet infant perfection...
Then I get to leave, just as the crying begins, and return home to my children who blissfully sleep all night and feed themselves! I love newborns, but I am very thankful that my own babies have graduated into the next stage of independence! I will however, gladly snuggle, pose and capture other's sweet miracles!

Baby R. was such a sweet girl! I definitely got my "baby fix" working with her, she was an absolute doll! At 13 days old, Baby R. slept and endured our poking and prodding very well, she even endured a few doggy kisses! Her parents, and doggy siblings are absolutely in love... and it shows!!!

~FALL~

There is something special about every season!

Winter is the time for my favorite holiday, cozy nights spent by the fire, gift giving and crafting!
Spring is all about new life, new growth, a refresh and restart after the harsh winter season, and a lot of hard work planting and prepping and cleaning!
Summer is for fun, vacations, time off of school and lazy days spent sunning by the pool!

We have now entered ~FALL~
I love this season!!!! In our area we have perfect weather, beautiful, clear, crisp light, and lots of fun family activities to do! As a family we love going to the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, doing craft projects and picking the perfect costumes!

It is also the perfect season for family portraits! The colors of the season are lovely and inspiring to photograph. Clients love this season also, as the perfect opportunity to prepare for Christmas cards and capture that "perfect shot" to document all the changes the year has brought.
My first session of the season happened to be my very good friends. I love how the session turned out...the colors, the light, and of course the beautiful family! I hope you enjoy these images of the Smeja family!

Welcome!!!!

Welcome to Fairview Photography!

Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Blogging my photography is a NEW journey for me, so please bear with me as I forge a new path! My goal in the blog is to keep fans updates on my current work and specials, with a light sprinkle of homemaking (decorating, projects, kid's activities, cooking, ect).

Photography is a passion and a hobby that I have turned into a new business. My clients are amazing and I so enjoy being a part of their lives for an hour at a time. I have had the opportunity to follow the journeys families take in their everyday lives, turning milestones into images that will be cherished!

Often, the "clients" that I find in front of my lens are my own family members. Specifically, my 2 beautiful daughters! My oldest is 5 and she is always willing to pose for mommy with beautiful smiles and expressions. My youngest however, is 2! I believe the age speaks for itself, but in case you have never come into contact with this particular age, it is full of movement and exploration but very little "stand still and smile"! Even in constant movement, she and her sister are beautiful...of course I am not bias in any way!!! Just the facts here folks!!! At the beginning of summer we went out into the yard and did one of our favorite outdoor activities
 LADYBUG HUNT!
I took the camera (not surprising) and came away with images that I am in LOVE with! I just printed a few and hung them in a hallway display. I am super happy with how it turned out and I find myself stopping throughout the day to look at the images and recall the day with fondness...
which is what photography is all about!
